It's obvious from the lead-in that CCP and I have had some serious differences in the past. I had issues with the customer service both in-game and out before they really got under my skin but some billing issues really made me hate them. Once upon a time I had 3 EVE accounts. Several reasons lead me to want to cancel my subscriptions to the game and move on to Lineage 2 ( incredible lag during PVP, outright PVP bugs, the use of blatant exploits such as crates at gates during PVP, etc. ) but CCP wouldn't stop billing me.

Months and months ticked by and I called Iceland about 25 times, each time being assured that it was being taken care of. It took months of calling, a couple hundred dollars in phone bills, and finally some hate articles on a website I was currently writing for to get them to stop. The $75 or so they billed me when I wasn't even playing wasn't worth the hassle, I was just glad to see a bank statement without CCP Iceland on it. 

So then I see this "EVE Intergrating Voice" announcement and I was surprised. I assumed they were just doing it to keep subscribers to an older game as the third gen games of 2007 come out, weak but still a good feature for the subscribers. Needless-to-say I was very wrong, CCP is all about dollars and sense.....surprised?

I read the article about how awesome it was, about Vivox doing it, how cool all the features were, etc. etc. Then at the very bottom I see the little line, "EVE Voice will be available from late March 2007 as an optional feature for players at a price of $10 for unlimited usage for 12 months." What a joke. So here's a link to the article on MMORPG.com and remember, if traveling to Iceland in a space ship....even if it is Jovian......hide your wallets boys the Vikings are plundering again.
